PCAP Collaborates with AU to Raise over $30 Million to Fight Ebola

The Policy Centre for African Peoples (PCAP) was represented at a historic meeting co-organised in Addis Ababa on 8th November 2014 by the African Union and the South Africa-based think tank African Democratic Institute. The aim of the aforementioned meeting was to discuss common approaches to the Ebola crisis, and raise funds for the African Union’s Private Sector Ebola Fund. We are delighted to report that over $30 million were raised on the day (and a lot more has been raised since).

PCAP’s Director, Ms Sylvie Aboa-Bradwell, who is also a Board Member of the African Democratic Institute, attended the meeting to gather support for the AU Private Sector Ebola Fund, and subsequently granted media interviews to raise awareness of this initiative.
